The Burgtheater and Akademietheater
The present and future of theatre
The Burgtheater, known simply as the “Burg”, is a cultural institution in an imposing building on Ringstraße. Together with its sister venues, the Akademietheater and Kasino am Schwarzenbergplatz, it is an important part of the identity of both Vienna and Austria. Since 2019, JP Real Estate has been a main sponsor of the two theatres as part of a long-term collaboration.
